With the increase in demand for silk carpets, in just a couple of years, all the hasps in looms are replaced by hanks.\u00a0<strong>Today, \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d is<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>the largest Turkish company manufacturing silk and wool carpets.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Year 2000\u2019s and change<\/strong><br \/>\nBetween the years of 1962 and 65, with a total personnel ranging from 50 to 100, there are more than 700 \u2013 800 weaver\u2019s working in central Kayseri and its surrounding villages. Today, \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d employs approximately 3,000 to 4,000 people, including its factory and carpet weaving workshops spread across an area of 14,000 square meters. The New Millennium represented the birth of the branding process for Mehmet and Hassan. With boutique stores situated in the cities of Kayseri, Istanbul and Antalya, the brothers felt the U.S. market could be interesting for them. They prepared new designs and color ways in the hopes to show collections in the largest carpet center in Atlanta. Upon entering the show, they were awarded the American Magnificent Carpet Award in the year of 2007, which is considered to be the most prestigious award in the carpet industry, \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d was awarded the same accolades in the following years of 2008 and 2009, thus making a name for itself in the international market. Always striving to venture into new areas, \u00c7\u0131nar has opened its first showroom in New York City, in October of 2015.<br \/>\nThe never-changing basic principles of \u00c7\u0131nar, set forth by Hayrullah \u00c7\u0131nar himself, are preserved generation after generation: honesty, non-compromises on quality, renovation and hard work\u2026 The story of \u00c7\u0131nar, almost nearing a century, is based on these very principles, which are firmly upheld by the following generations\u2026 Just like the strong and solid nature of silk, which has been the symbol of nobility for many civilizations\u2026<br \/>\nThese are the basic principals that have made, \u00c7\u0131nar, the largest manufacturer of silk carpets in Turkey, today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A way of existence, (modus vivendi): \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\nNone of the carpets that are woven by \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d can be considered simply as carpets. They are the indicators of indulgence, a certain style and lifestyle. It is the reflection of a worldview that feeds on the rich culture of the lands where it has grown up but also manages to keep up with the spirit of the modern times. It represents not wealth but elegance and quality. Each \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d is the ultimate example of a modest but unique legacy that will adorn houses for generations. \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d is an ambassador of the arts that follow on the footsteps of civilizations from the past until today and tomorrow\u2026 It is what makes a \u201cCinar\u201d a \u201cCinar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>During the century old story of \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d, the brand that the first generation has created is developed and distributed from Kayseri to all over Turkey at the time of the second generation and, with the third generation, it starts expanding abroad\u2026 Today, we are at the cornerstone of a story that will continue to evolve for more years to come\u2026 As long as the story is being written or, in other words, as long as \u201c\u00c7\u0131nar\u201d continues to bring the past to the future, it will be shared with you, esteemed followers.
