In 1973 Arto and Aila Viita-aho founded the Viita-aho Rug Factory in Lappaj\u00e4rvi surrounded by the vast expanses of the region of Ostrobothnia. We are still here in Lappaj\u00e4rvi, carrying on the work of our parents as a family company.
\nFantastic rugs are made up of inventive techniques, professional skills and the basic values of life.
\nAt our rug factory we believe that every single rug makes the world a slightly better place to live in.
\nOriginally, rugs were woven for a certain place. We still like to cultivate that tradition at our rug factory. We already have a versatile collection of rugs but you are welcome to enquire about different shapes and sizes. We pay a great deal of attention to every rug we weave and choose the materials very carefully. And surely it goes without saying that every single rug is thoroughly finished and inspected before it leaves the factory.<\/p>\n
