Heimtextil 2025 ended with full exhibition halls,<br \/>\n142 participating nations, another increase in exhibitors and visitors as well as with<br \/>\ntop satisfaction ratings. Over four days, more than 50,000 buyers experienced the<br \/>\nlatest collections, materials and textile solutions for the entire interior design at<br \/>\nfirst hand from over 3,000 exhibitors. The Heimtextil Trends 25\/26 by Alcova Milano<br \/>\nand the installation \u2018among-us\u2019 by star designer Patricia Urquiola set new<br \/>\nstandards for interior design, retail and hospitality. The content programme<br \/>\ncentered on AI-driven design, sustainable production processes and future<br \/>\ninteriors.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018142 participating nations, growth in exhibitors and a ten percent increase in visitors show:<br \/>\ntrade fairs are in more demand than ever. In times of persistent inflation and low<br \/>\npurchasing power, resilience and market presence are key. This is exactly how Heimtextil<br \/>\nenabled industry and retail: to access new markets and thus actively shape global<br \/>\ncompetition,\u2019 said Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt. The<br \/>\nshare of international exhibitors rose to 96 per cent, strengthening Heimtextil&#8217;s position as<br \/>\nthe world&#8217;s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles and textile design. Among the<br \/>\ntop ten exhibiting countries were China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain,<br \/>\nPortugal and Belgium. At 94 per cent, visitor<br \/>\nsatisfaction reached also a record high. The increased duration of stay showed: visitors<br \/>\nwere engaging more deeply. The large number of top decision-makers reflected the<br \/>\nquality of the visitors and their buyer expertise. The strong internationality, quality and<br \/>\nglobal variety were demonstrated among others by the Carpets &amp; Rugs area. Across<br \/>\n2 several hall levels, visitors were presented with a high-quality selection of products from<br \/>\nleading international carpet suppliers, seamlessly integrated into the overall Heimtextil<br \/>\nrange. Alongside buyers, interior designers, interior architects and decorators, specialised<br \/>\ncarpet buyers from around the world also benefited from business-promoting synergies for<br \/>\ntextile interior design.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patricia Urquiola: progressive concepts for textile interior design<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a high-profile partnership, Heimtextil 2025 elevated textile interior design to new<br \/>\nheights. Trade visitors gained fresh insights into global design trends and local market<br \/>\nneeds. Designer and architect Patricia Urquiola showcased pioneering textile design<br \/>\nthrough her immersive installation among-us: The atmospheric, textile meeting space<br \/>\nfollowed a functional design approach, demonstrating decision-makers in hospitality and<br \/>\nretail the vast potential of textile-based solutions in architecture and interior design.<br \/>\namong-us thus brought innovative room concepts for future living environments to life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heimtextil Trends 25\/26 by Alcova: A Roadmap for the industry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a vital source of inspiration, the Heimtextil Trends 25\/26 guided the retail sector in<br \/>\naligning its range with current market conditions and restrained consumer spending. For<br \/>\nthe first time, the Milanese design platform Alcova curated the Trend Arena, delivering<br \/>\ndecisive solutions for the industry. Under the title \u2018Future Continuous\u2019, it highlighted<br \/>\ncontemporary colours, material qualities, techniques and production processes. The trend<br \/>\nthemes \u2018Naturally Uneven\u2019, \u2018Radically Restructured\u2019 and \u2018Regenerative\u2019 reflected what<br \/>\nmatters to consumers: long-lasting, high-quality products that also meet ethical and<br \/>\necological standards. This year&#8217;s colour palette captured this mood \u2013 with shades ranging<br \/>\nfrom Revival Mud and New Green Deal to Syntropic Forest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From AI to circularity: Heimtextil as a global knowledge hub<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Resilience through knowledge exchange: With over 140 lectures, workshops and guided<br \/>\ntours, Heimtextil helped industry and retail to respond to market changes and to leverage<br \/>\ninnovations as competitive advantages. \u2018The content programme directly addressed the<br \/>\nneeds of the worldwide textile market and the consumers. With the Retail Stage and the<br \/>\nTexpertise Stage, the industry benefited from our strong new partnerships and from<br \/>\nbusiness-enhancing expertise on circular production processes, future-focused interior<br \/>\ntrends and AI-driven design,\u2019 explained Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles &amp; Textile<br \/>\nTechnologies.
